Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has launched a “Ministerial committee” to prevent Lee Kuan Yew’s will from being carried out, and is now investigating the legitimacy of his father’s will.

The centre of the investigation is Morgan Lewis Stamford law firm, where Lee Hsien Yang’s wife Lee Suet Fern is a lawyer with. The “Ministerial committee” is questioning Lee Suet Fern’s role in the will and demanded to know “how the will was prepared”. The Lee Hsien Loong-backed committee also demanded his sibling to make a statutory declaration, which could land one in jail if discrepancy were to be made.

Lee Hsien Yang and Lee Wei Ling not signed the statutory declaration demanded by their brother. According to the Lee Hsien Loong’s Cabinet Secretary, Tan Kee Yong, said:

“Dr Lee Wei Ling and Mr Lee Hsien Yang have not responded to-date, and have indicated that if they respond at all, they will only be able to reply at the earliest by the end of June.”

Dictator Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has intentions to reserve the 38 Oxley Road house to consolidate his political power by making it as a monument for his father and himself. His brother wrote in an open letter today saying that Lee Hsien Loong intends to create a monarchy by handing over his premiership to his son Lee Hong Yi – in the same manner Lee Kuan Yew handed power to his son through puppet Prime Minister like Goh Chok Tong.
