After Lee Hsien Yang dismissed the irrelevance of having a “Ministerial Committee” to decide on Lee Kuan Yew’s will, Law Minister K Shanmugam now hit back calling Lee Hsien Yang “baseless” and that Singaporeans are “sick and tired” of him:
“I am sure most Singaporeans are sick and tired about these endless allegations, which are quite baseless.”
The fork-tongued Law Minister even claimed that disrespecting Lee Kuan Yew’s will relates to “welfare of Singaporeans”:
“The government has serious business to attend to relating to the welfare of Singaporeans.”
Lee Hsien Yang posted on Facebook a screenshot where K Shanmugam suggested to preserve the house in an email dated July 2011:

Law Minister K Shanmugam also denied that the “Ministerial Committee” is fundamentally-flawed and a conflict of interest, because he is who he is:
“I am an experienced Senior Counsel and Minister for Law who should well understand the problem of conflicts of interests. I am well aware of the rules of conflict, having been in practice for over 22 years. The suggestion that I am in conflict is ridiculous.”
The lawless Law Minister then challenged Lee Hsien Yang to sue him:
“If Mr Lee Hsien Yang seriously believes that I was in conflict, he can get a lawyer to write to me and I will respond.”
Corrupted Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has just landed in Singapore and quickly organised the “Ministerial Committee” within a single day. The PM is now directing his ministers to handle Lee Hsien Yang and stopped commenting altogether after his blunder.
