In yet another sign of decay in the ruling party PAP, notorious “airhead” Minister Josephine Teo has been co-opted into the PAP Central Executive Committee (CEC) as announced by Minister Chan Chun Sing today (Oct 11).
Minister Josephine Teo took headlines in October 2016 when she told state media that Singaporeans need not “much space for sex”. Earning herself an “airhead” reputation after making the crass comment, she further defended herself saying that housing and jobs are lower in priority than “making babies”. The PAP Minister also took headlines calling Singaporean women “chicken“, pushing away her MP responsibilities over lift breakdowns in her constituency, and making callous comments about rising prices of milk powder.
Despite a clear lack of capabilities, Minister Josephine Teo has been a faithful servant of dictator Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Minister Chan Chun Sing also announced that Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan Jin who was newly-demoted from his ministerial position, will not be sitting in the inner circle of the PAP CEC. Speaker Tan Chuan Jin was thrown to a forsaken position as chairman of an inactive group, PAP Senior Group.
