Plagiarising from States Times Review Alex Tan, Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan said he is going to enforce mandatory wearing of face masks on public transport:

“We will make mask-wearing compulsory for public transport. This will minimise transmission in public transport during the post-circuit breaker period when safe distancing is compromised.”

Alex Tan wrote an article ten days ago on April 1st, warning of super-spreader presence in public transport, and advised the public to wear a face mask in trains and buses. In his article, the exiled writer-engineer who have 5 POFMA orders tagged to his name, wrote that social distancing in public transport is useless as the airborne virus can travel from one train cabin to another due to inertia.

Singapore reported a total of 2,108 confirmed cases as of yesterday. In one day, 72 people were infected for unknown reasons.
