A 27 year old British national has been arrested for crossing the F1 race circuit at Marina Bay last evening (Sep 20). The unnamed “invader” was spotted crossing the track by race leader Sebastian Vettel and a safety car was deployed before the man exited through a gap within the barriers.
CCTV footage showed that the man climbed over the the right-hand barrier and walked across the track. The man then walked on the inside towards Turn 13 and exited through a gap in the fence. He was subsequently arrested by the police.
