Just sharing- Before the PSLE result, my daughter told me that she worried if she needs to retain Pri 6. As a parent, if I am gonna scold her for retaining, to me its similar to looking down at others who have to retain as well. So i told her, “You need to prepare for the worst but even if you retain, its alright. It means that you will take longer time to study. It doesnt mean you can’t succeed.”
Today when she got her results (146), both of us were happy and most importantly, we are not ashamed of the score because we know she has improved..and we know that the score 142 doesnt mean end of the world and it doesnt determine her success
