Lee Hsien Loong on 10-day holiday with S$200K bonus

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be on vacation from today (Dec 22) until New Year Eve (Dec 31), with a civil servant bonus of at least S$200,000 in his bank account. While he is away, Singapore’s economy is on a free fall with worsening GDP figures and increasing unemployment figures.

The Prime Minister and also chairman of sovereign wealth fund company GIC does not declare his full income and assets to the public. However, it is calculated that his total net worth is at an estimated S$300 million and his household income in the top 0.001%.

In the meantime, his wife, the CEO of Temasek Holdings, Ho Ching has been actively surfing Facebook and sharing posts all day – presumably on a holiday too.

The Prime Minister wife is often seen as an airhead who lost Singapore’s CPF money in bad investment decisions.
