Right-wing academic, Institute of Service Excellence (ISE) from the Singapore Management University (SMU), published a new survey claiming that Singaporeans are now more satisfied with the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) trains and the state of public transport.
The government-sponsored academic institution claimed that the MRT train systems saw a 2.4% improvement in satisfaction level, and the overall land transport experience increased by 3.5%.
The government survey also claimed improvement in service standards in all 11 sectors with an overall result of 71.8% in 2016 – up by 1.69% from 2015.
The research head of ISE Chen Yongchang claimed that waiting times at the polyclinics and hospitals may not have reduce but their “waiting experience” is now “better”:
“This suggests that while shorter waiting times are welcomed at healthcare institutions, it was the waiting experience that was most important in determining how customers rate their satisfaction with healthcare providers.”
