As of last Thursday (July 16), Amos Yee has filed for an appeal against his 4 weeks jail sentence with the High Court and is also looking to sue his slapper, 49 year old Neo Gim Huah.

Neo Gim Huah assaulted 16 year old Amos Yee by slapping the latter while on his way to a court hearing. He was arrested the very next day and sentenced to 3 weeks jail. In his own defence, The owner of an air-conditioner service company testified in court that he assaulted the boy because Lee Kuan Yew is someone he respects a lot and he is hurt by Amos Yee’s video.
